Daxxify Injection Procedure
Daxxify is the newest neuromodulator injection and has quickly become a favorite of our patients. It starts working sooner and lasts longer than Botox and other neuromodulator medications.
Steps Involved in Treatment:
- Dr. Arash Akhavan will do a thorough consultation with you and you will decide together where you can benefit from Daxxify injections.
- We will assess and mark your muscles carefully and plan out the injections, making sure that the treatment leaves you with very natural looking results. That is our specialty and what we are most known for!
- The proper amount will be injected into very specific locations in the treatment areas.
- You will be instructed to avoid laying on the areas and putting any pressure on the areas for 4 hours. We recommend avoiding exercise until the following morning.
- You will first start to see some effects within 2-3 days with full effect by 2 weeks after treatment. At 2 weeks you can come in for a complimentary touch-up procedure if needed.

Both treatments are safe and highly effective in treating wrinkles, both yield natural looking results, and both are extremely popular with our patients. Some patients report that they feel a slight burn or sting with Daxxify injections that they don’t feel with Botox.
When it comes to Daxxify vs Botox there are many similarities and only a few key differences, but both are excellent wrinkle reduction treatments.
Daxxify is priced the same as Botox and Xeomin in our office, starting at $650 for new patients for one treatment area (with the new patient discount). The total Daxxify cost for a treatment depends on how many areas are being treated.
Following your injections, avoid pressing on or massaging the treated area or laying face down for at least 4 hours.
The main difference between Daxxify and Botox is that Daxxify provides longer-lasting results and has a quicker onset. This is mostly due to its unique formulation with a proprietary peptide.
Results from Daxxify typically last up to 6 months. Results can vary depending on how your body responds to the product.
