Cost of Emsculpt NEO
Why is Emsculpt NEO so expensive?
A highly advanced medical device, Emsculpt NEO is used for non-invasive body contouring and muscle building. Unique in that it combines two very sophisticated technologies in one device, Emsculpt NEO utilizes both High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) and Radiofrequency (RF) energies. This combination of technologies in one treatment, enables the device to build muscle and reduce fat.
The high cost of the Emsculpt NEO device is due to a few factors: the research that went into its development, the advanced technologies utilized within it, the cost of manufacturing the device, and the distribution of the device. As with all medical treatments, therapy with Emsculpt NEO should also only be performed by a licensed medical professional to ensure proper treatment.
Cost in Our Office
Emsculpt NEO is FDA approved for use in the buttock area to build muscle and to lift it. It is also approved for use in various areas including the abdomen, thighs, love handles, arms, and legs to increase muscle mass and decrease fat in these areas.
Emsculpt NEO treatment includes a series of four treatment sessions per body area, with a cost of $4000.
Discounts are available for multiple body areas to be treated during the same visit. For patients agreeing to share Before and After images and/or allowing us to videotape their procedure, additional discounts may be available.
Emsculpt vs Emsculpt NEO
Emsculpt NEO is a much more advanced and superior body contouring device than the original Emsculpt. For this reason, our office only uses Emsculpt NEO treatments and no longer offers the original Emsculpt device treatments.
There are, however, many medical practices still offering the original Emsculpt device, and these practices may offer treatment at a slightly lower cost.
Is Emsculpt NEO worth it?
In clinical studies, Emsculpt NEO, a non-invasive body contouring and muscle-building treatment, has been shown to be effective in reducing fat by an average amount of 30% and increasing muscle by an average of 25%. As for the question of whether or not the treatment is “worth it”, the answer depends on an individual’s specific needs and goals.
Some patients may find the treatment is worth the cost if it helps them achieve the results they desire, while other patients may find the cost too high, with results that may not be as effective on them. Consulting with a qualified medical professional can help patients determine if the treatment is right for them, and can help patients understand the potential benefits, risks, and costs of the treatment.
When consulting with our patients about Emscuplt NEO, we ask our patients to look in a mirror and imagine the potential results of treatment, which include about a 30% fat reduction and/or 25% muscle mass increase in the area being treated. If these results would make the patient happy, Emsculpt NEO should be worth it for that person. If the patient would expect or want more than is capable through this treatment, then the patient would need to consider more invasive procedures to achieve their goals, as no non-invasive contouring device would be worth it to that person.
Emsculpt NEO is designed to be a complementary treatment that enhances the results of a healthy lifestyle. It is not a replacement for regular exercise, a healthy diet, and a healthy lifestyle.
